The internship position (Part Time or Full Time) at Reining Hope is currently OPEN

General Description

The intern is responsible for assisting the Executive Director and Equine Manager with various tasks and projects throughout the year. These tasks pertain to administrative duties, equine management, and volunteer leadership. The purpose of the internship at Reining Hope is to equip, enhance, and encourage. Reining Hope intends to equip the intern with the skill set necessary to jumpstart/lead/be involved with a horse-related ministry. Reining Hope intends to enhance the intern’s talents and gifts for God’s glory, and Reining Hope intends to encourage the intern on her journey toward serving God with her heart, soul, mind, and strength.


  • Female (due to living arrangements and close interaction with Founder, Reining Hope only offers internships to females at this time)
  • Minimum age: 19 years old
  • Committed relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Clear criminal/felony record in all 50 states​
  • Desire to provide hope, healing, and acceptance to community
  • Confident and comfortable around horses (advanced experience is preferred)
  • Excellent computer skills, to provide Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Agree with Reining Hope’s Statement of Faith
  • Willing to work hard


  • Part-time: 20 hours/week or Full-time: 40 hours/week
  • Unpaid with no health benefits; intern may request sponsorships from outside affiliations, but no wages will be processed through Reining Hope
  • Room and board will be provided for intern (includes private bedroom and bathroom, utilities, general groceries)
